Policy-Making

Where there is a Policy, no matter how straightforward it seems, people tend to find their own ways to follow it.
 
Good Policy is simple.
Good Policy states the obvious.
Good Policy states the natural consequences of breaking the Policy.
If there is no consequence, it is not a policy, it is a suggestion.
Attempting to clarify a good Policy with more Policy leads to unclear Policy, which leads to people not respecting Policy, which shortly leads to breaking the original intent of the Policy.
 
People don't break Policy because they are generally stupid; they break Policy because they are specifically stupid about their wisdom.

A Peculiar People

Grace and Peace!
 
Conservative Christians separating themselves and their faith from secular government is wrong.
 
Government without conservative believers guiding it is a disaster for the government, for the people subject to the government, and eventually, for individual believers.
 
In this way we are peculiar, in a good way.
This blog was built to argue the why and how of things.
